BAS Architects, founded by Byron Bassington and Jack Norton in 2022, is a London-based studio with projects across the UK. The studio focuses on delivering thoughtful design solutions that respond to their context, celebrate craftsmanship, collaboration and prioritise sustainability.

Accepting only a handful of instructions at one time enables us to offer an attentive and personal service, whilst allowing us to carefully build a client and project portfolio.

Byron Bassington RIBA MRICS

Co-founder / Director

Byron studied at Barlett School of Architecture. He now draws on over 15 years in practice, whilst working for award-winning firms such as Foster + Partners and Gumuchdjian Architects, delivering a broad range of UK and international projects.

Byron is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Jack Norton MRICS

Co-founder / Director

Jack started his career studying yacht and powercraft design before deviating into property and qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor. He brings a meticulous attention to detail to all stages throughout the delivery of our work.

Jack is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Civil Mediation Council registered mediator.
